In 2022, architect, artist and collector added another string to his bow, as an author. His book East Meets East: Contemporary Asian Design, published to mark the 30th anniversary of his architecture practice CL3, is a celebration of Asian design and aesthetics, and their contemporary impact. In 2021, he and his wife, interior designer Lavina, donated some 90 pieces by 26 artists from their Living Collection, the world’s largest private collection of art from Hong Kong, to M+, Hong Kong’s new public contemporary art museum.
