Celebrating Chinese New Year in February 2013, this theatre seats 800 people and is entirely erected of bamboo and timber logs using a hand tied technique. It measures 57m x 40m x 16m high, with a column free span of 25 meters. The exterior are cladded with festive colorful banners and formed the centre of a market place where people gather prior to the performance.

The construction was entirely sustainable. The structure was erected for 2 weeks and taken down. All bamboo members were recycled and reused for other scaffolding projects.
